Quality Control Administrative Assistant
Job Description: We are a nutrition manufacturing company seeking a full-time, in-office QC Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities include performing diversified administrative functions directly related to the management of general business operations. Reports to Quality Director and is involved with the daily activities of the Quality Control department and internal auditing for FDA regulatory compliance.
Document review and internal auditing
Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
Desirable characteristics include proficiency in typing, English, office procedures, and written and verbal communications. Accounting skills preferred. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and suppliers. Must have a minimum of four years of experience in a business office environment. Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be able to multi-task. Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency required. Database programming a plus. FDA/NSF regulatory knowledge a plus. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
